Since being elected President and becoming part of new leadership of the Garland Trail Hawks, we were drawn to MAC for their support of the entire ATV community. They were instrumental in providing lower cost General Liability insurance for our club. When I attended my first MAC meeting, I expressed that our club was looking for different sources to obtain grant money. MAC informed us that there were Penobscot County grants available. The Garland Trail Hawks completed and submitted an application on March 6, 2023. We received notification on April 18 that we had been approved for ARPA Grant. This will allow us to make long term capital improvements to our trail system. Without joining MAC, The Garland Trail Hawks ATV Club would not have been aware of this grant.
